CarHavn EuroTech has the tools and expertise to code and program new and used modules for Euro brands.

For almost 30 years, Euro makers have been leaders in auto electronics, pioneering advanced functionality like ABS brakes, variable timing, DSG transmissions, and other features.

Those advanced features and comforts also mean that modern cars are highly complex. Most newer cars have a dozen or more linked computers, or electronic modules.

Traditional mechanics may be good with the wrench, but auto electronics is a whole different specialization. An auto electrician is the rare professional who understands electronics, and is also proficient with advanced software.

We are lucky to have auto electricians in our staff, and the tools and software to repair most Euro modules.

  • Can you fix or do you replace the module?

It depends. There are three general cases we see:

    1. The module has a faulty electronic component that is available. Sometimes a chip, a condenser, a resistor, is all a module needs. We can isolate and repair that.

    2. The module has irreparable damage, and can he cloned. We then locate an adequate donor car with a compatible module, and transplant the info from your module to the donor.

    3. The module has irreparable damage, and it cannot be cloned. Some modules have OTP (one-time programming) or IMMO sections that cannot be copied. In that case, a new, virgin module is the only solution.

We can program and code modules in all three cases.
